I've only gotten carry out here, but everything I've tried has been great! Flavorful, SEASONED and fresh. No complaints. Especially the miso broccoli!! Service always prompt

If you are traveling on I40, set your gps to this sandwich shop. The drive is confusing, taking you through many parts of Hickory. The time it takes to get there will result in a gastronomical delight. Double smash burger in my top five. The bacon turkey avocado is wonderful. Take the time to drive here.

Perfect place to stop by for lunch after visiting the science center. My dad and I enjoyed a delicious Hatch Burger and the pulled pork banh mi. I wouldn't order the banh mi again personally but the hamburger was delicious, perfectly cooked. The service was fast and the outdoor seating was perfect with the breeze outside this time of year.

This place is amazing! Their lamb burger special on September 20th was one of the best burgers I've had. You can tell the crew takes pride in their work as the place was busy and everyone appeared to be enjoying their meal of choice.

Hickory, NC Cute outdoor seating. It also has indoor seating adjacent to the walk up window where you place your order for your sandwiches. They have a large selection of sandwiches to choose from. They all come with chips. You can order substitutions for an extra price. The turkey Reuben is served on a ciabatta bread. It had the right amount of food but lacked flavor. The pulled pork grilled cheese was delicious. Two types of melted cheese served on sourdough bread. Sandwiches seem to be slightly warm. I prefer it to be hot. Overall, it's a nice place to have lunch in downtown Hickory

Just realized I've never reviewed this spot and they are my favorite lunch spot in Hickory. Their new dinner service on the weekends is also great if you have a chance. All their lunch sandwiches are always fantastic, especially their daily specials like the spiced lamb meatloaf banh mi I got today - so much flavor, great bread, and good crew working there under Zach. They always have a good local beer selection in the cooler and some interesting wine options, too.

I cannot tell you how delicious the sandwiches at hatch are!! The specials are always tough to choose from. The sides are all homemade! Ever heard of a scallop or salmon bahn mi???!! Well they are amazing!! Counter style ordering, they deliver to your table. Very busy but worth the wait.

We have traveled through here for decades and never ventured off the beaten path. So glad we did today and found this amazing sandwich shop! Thanks to Yelp for helping us find it. The food menu is creative and provides healthy options as well as gluten-free. We had the Pork Belly BLT and the Turkey Rueben. Delicious! We just returned and loved the pork belly BLT and the chicken salad plate with sweet potato fries and shishito peppers. The aioli it came with was fantastic. Parking is scarce since it's right in the middle of downtown, and the wait is long but so worth it. Come when you can relax and enjoy.

Time for lunch and I was able to get a parking space close to Hatch. We ordered at the counter and took a seat in the back where sandwiches were delivered about 15 minutes later. Made to order and they were busy, so this is an appropriate time. They have a cooler with beers and canned/bottled sodas. There is also a self-service soda fountain in the back. It's a nice dining area with different options for seating including a large communal table, some high tops and low tops. There might be a wifi. Restrooms were clean. Sandwiches arrived and they were great. I had chose the "Club" which was ham, turkey and bacon with appropriate fixings. Delicious, slightly messy, very yummy. My wife had the "Thanksgiving Turkey" with cranberry and thick sliced tomato. Also excellent. Great lunch, nice little place. I'm glad we found it!
